What kind of gifts can I donate?+
We accept new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children aged 0–16. We especially need gifts for older children and teenagers. Please don't wrap them — our volunteers wrap everything to match each child.
Where do I drop off my gift?+
Find your nearest drop-off point on our Find a Drop-Off page. Each location has opening hours, parking and accessibility details.
When is the donation deadline?+
The donation deadline for the 2026 campaign is 13 December. Gifts received after this date may be held for the following year.
🏪 Drop-off points
How do I become a drop-off point?+
Apply through our Become a Drop-Off Point page. The 8-step application takes about 10 minutes. Our team reviews every application and will be in touch.
What happens after I'm approved?+
We create your account, generate your QR code and certificate, add you to the map, and email your welcome pack. You then get access to your own dashboard and resource centre.
My collection point is getting full — what do I do?+
Log in to your drop-off point dashboard and press 'Request Collection'. Choose the urgency and we'll arrange a driver.
🧑🤝🧑 Volunteering
How do I volunteer?+
Register on our Volunteer page. Tell us your region and preferred roles — driving, sorting, wrapping, events and more. Our coordinator will be in touch.
Do I need a DBS check?+
Some roles (especially those near children) require a DBS check. We'll guide you through this during onboarding if it's needed for your role.
Can I volunteer with my friends or colleagues?+
Absolutely! Many of our shifts are team-friendly. Join the same shift and you'll be working together.
🏠 Referring a family
Who can refer a family?+
Schools, charities, community organisations and authorised health or social care professionals. You'll need to register as a Verified Referral Partner first.
How is children's privacy protected?+
We never ask for children's names. Requests use anonymised labels like 'Child A' and 'Child B'. Child information is held under tighter controls and is never shown publicly.
🤝 Fundraising & sponsoring
Can I run my own fundraiser?+
Yes — start a fundraising campaign on our Fundraise page. Set a target, share your story and link, and people can pledge directly.
How does my business become a sponsor?+
Get in touch via our Contact page. We offer tiered sponsorship with recognition assets, certificates and impact reports.
