Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about donating and getting involved.

What gifts can I donate?+

We accept new, unwrapped gifts suitable for children aged 0–16 years. Popular items include toys, books, games, puzzles, arts and crafts sets, and toiletries for older teens.

Do gifts need to be wrapped?+

We don't mind, but if you choose to wrap your gift, please attach a label clearly stating the intended age range and gender so we can match it to the right child.

Where do the gifts go?+

All gifts are distributed locally to children and families across North Lincolnshire and the Humberside region through our network of social workers, schools, and partner community organisations.

Can I donate money instead?+

Yes! Financial donations help us purchase specific gifts for age groups that are often short on donations (like teenagers). You can donate securely via our official charity portal.

Do you accept second-hand items?+

While we appreciate the thought, we can only accept brand new items for health, safety, and dignity reasons. Every child deserves a brand new gift at Christmas.

How can my business become a drop-off point?+

If you're a business, school, gym, church or community group, you can apply to join our network. Approved locations receive official posters, labels and marketing materials, and are listed on our website map and social media.
